Cockpit Software Suite has a new plug-in coming. With the addition of this latest plug-in, the ACES Cockpit Software Suite now supports virtually all major flight simulator programs. The newest addition to the plug-in library brings support for Prepar3D and FSX. The plug-in is in beta test and will be released soon.

The P3D plug-in uses the SimConnect server provided in certain editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX), such as the deluxe edition. Since this interface is supported by both FSX and P3D, this plug-in can be used for either flight simulator program. It’s kind of like getting a two-for-one. Each version of FSX has an associated version of the SimConnect server. The ACES P3D plug-in uses the version distributed with FSX SP2. This makes it compatible with FSX SP2 (obviously) and P3D v4 and v5.
